There are some 150 different jobs available in the Army, ranging from Infantryman to Engineers.

The key issue is that all Soldiers are primarily trained for combat and your daily duties and the operations and exercises in which you take part will reflect this. Soldiers must maintain a high level of combat readiness, an awareness of tactics, field-craft and map reading and be able to use an increasingly sophisticated range of weapons and equipment.
