The Home Office is responsible for some of the most crucial components of social policy and service delivery. As well as developing and implementing policy across a range of areas, they deliver three of the largest and most complex public services: the Prison Service, the National Probation Service and the Immigration Service. They currently employ almost 70,000 people with a whole range of backgrounds, expertise and experiences. They are managers, researchers, statisticians, policy advisers and analysts, caseworkers, accountants and media and communications professionals. The Home Office is located across the UK, with major offices in central London, Croydon, Liverpool, Leeds and Sheffield. In every location, they need people who bring strong or oganisational ability, energy, and enthusiasm, people who can innovate and solve problems.
